    Default Eye, Ear Candy

I haven't been on the Cafe much lately. It's a great community and a heck of a resource. About a year and a half ago I was fortunate to hear what I considered to be one of the best sounding F5's in Portland Oregon. The mandolin player was performing with the Lindsey Lou group. Beautiful, smart vocals. Exceptional dry, cutting and melodic sounding mando. Now I see that F5 for sell in the Cafe ads. Yup...i have no MAS, I have no MAS..dang it..

It appears to be the Weinman F5, as Josh Rilke is a band member.

I wonder if the offered instrument is littermates with yankees1’s much anticipated Engelmann-topped F5?
