Congratulations! I have had a chance to play a couple, they are nice. I have always lusted after one of the black topped MT-O's myself.

Congrats. I have a Collings MT and an MTO. Love them both. They're different tonally, but both fun to play.

Don't be silly. I wouldn't shoot a mandolin -- I was referring to this new Collings model that has the 40-caliber option, a laser sight and a finely tuned trigger. Oh, and a silencer, so as not to interfere with the music. An expensive option, yes, but it could be a life-saver someday. You can never be too prepared...
