Default New Mandola from Hora in Romania

I just received my new mandola from Hora. It's very well made and a bargain for a fully solid instrument.

It's my first Mandola, but to me it sounds really good. The only problem I noticed is the tuning machines are working ok but a little tight(much better after some oil) and I get some plectrum noise from the lower strings but they are replaceable.

They sell directly from the factory, to countries without representation. No shop as such, it's handled by e-mail

I've had mine for a couple of years.

They are very solid and have a pretty good sound.

    Tuners not so great.

I use mine mostly at Christmas time. They are very suited for that type of ensemble playing.

I paid 137 euro + shipping 39 euro for the nonelectrical version, shipped from the factory. The electrical version is also available at Thomann.de, they used to have the nonelectrical as well, maybe it's coming back.
