I saw this on facebook marketplace (no financial interest on my part). Built by the late John Wynn.

Looks pretty neat. Lots of carving there.

If I remember correctly, Jesse McReynolds played one of his mandolins.

Well, that's a pretty good recommendation.
I like this instrument and wonder how it sounds.

You do remember correctly. McReynolds expressed an interest in Wynn's work. Wynn made four mandolins, took them to Jesse and he picked the one he liked best. A mandolin instructor I had in St. Louis about 15 years ago knew Wynn and got one of the three Jesse didn't pick.It was a great instrument.

Do you have a link? Or is it sold? I don't see it when I do a search on FB Marketplace.

The mandolin is still listed for sale ($3,750). Listing is for "Wynn mandolin". I don't know how to provide a link.

I had a real early 3 point for a while. It was a strong mandolin. It was heavier than most, but very cool. It went back home to John's son Berry.

I think you can just copy the URL from the browser address window or click share and you can copy URL. FB has terrible search. Even under musical instruments you get all sorts of everything else. When I put in John Wynn I get John Wayne memorabilia.
