    Default Audio on Sessions.org!

Sessions.Org is a great site for every variation of just about any Celtic, or related tune. I visit there often. You can get standard notation or abc. format. BUT, I just discovered that they have added a “Play Audio” feature, which is great for choosing a version of a tune you really want to learn!

Yes those are midi files based on the abc notation and, at least on my computer, comes across with a concertina sound but that is an excellent convenience for sure.

And the rhythm setting for the jigs isn’t bad at all.

On my computer, they sound like an accordion. Especially so the tunes with chordal accompaniment - you may have to hunt for such tunes.

Since the sound files are generated by the abc files so if there are chords indicated in the abc then they will be generated in the midi.
