The tailpiece looks great, I also like the leather work on the strap.

I love this strap, too. Bought it used from MandoMutt. I like the knots, but I also like that it cinches down tight to the endpin.

I like to do a little leather work and I like knots so I noticed it right off. It is one of the nicest strap I have seen.

I know that Kevin from MandoMutt told me at one point who made it, but I can’t find the text or email. I’m asking him if he remembers.

I did some hunting on the Internet and found this site. They made my strap. (And Kevin from MandoMutt just confirmed the info.) https://leatherandbraid.com/custombraiding.html

The tail piece is awesome, it and the strap all comes together nicely. That is one of Tammy Davies straps, she does some nice work. Very easy to deal with, I had her make me one a year or so ago. I love it.

    Doug,
Did you pick the design, or just let him come up with something for you? The detail in that thing is amazing.

He showed me some designs and I chose one for the cover and one for the body piece. He was willing to customize the designs, but I loved what he already had. The biggest issue was whether to go gold or silver. (The Waverly tuners have silver hardware but the frets are gold EVO, so already a mix.)

Beautiful tailpiece, Doug! What tailpiece did Weldon start with?

    Love the strap, too!
