Not knowing the topography of Nashville, I'm wondering if anyone knows if TMS was in the blast area? Hope Dennis is okay...he's been through enough!

The blast was downtown. The Mandolin Store appears to be north of Nashville in a suburb. Carter's is downtown but about a mile away. I'm just getting all of this from Google Maps, though. A local may have more insight.
Both Carter's and Gruhn Guitars are a safe distance away from the affected area.
What a horrible incident and I hope those injured make full, rapid recoveries.
The blast knocked a hole in the brick wall of the AT&T building and tore up some storefronts directly across the street. I don't think the damage extended more than a block. Carter Vintage Guitars is a little over a mile away and Gruhn is another mile farther down the street. We were all at home, of course, when the blast happened, but CVG had no broken windows, no mandolins knocked off the wall.
Cell phones went out (though not immediately); they're just coming back on (5:30 pm on 12/26). Most internet service in this area is Comcast, and Comcast phones and internet remained up.
Could have been a lot worse. No reports of mandolin casualties.
