Howdy all. I’m getting to the point in my mandolin playing where I want to start playing faster. I don’t necessarily have a craze for playing faster than my mind can process, but there are several songs that my brother plays on banjo and I would love to play along with him. What songs do you recommend that are moderately fast but will still help with getting ready to those faster songs such as Train 45, Cumberland Gap, Northwest Passage, Potliquor (Cory and Jarrod Walker), Fireball Mail, Open Road (Jason Davis), etc. I have been doing a pretty good practice routine every day, including left and right hand work, but I just want to learn some faster songs and get better using that as well.
