    Default New milestone

I just realized that I hit my 5,000th post today! So in recognition I will be making a donation to the Mandolin Cafe for putting up with me.

Thank you Scott and all the mods for running such a wonderful site!

Hope you all have a good and safe New Year!

I will be offering a free workshop on how to devote your entire life to voluminous posting on the mandolin cafe. The real secret is that I don’t actually play mandolin— I spend all my time just posting here. And I really don’t have much of a life anyway.

They could be mandolin mirages or downloads of my brain images from my fractured dreams.

Jim’s signature lists a bunch of mandolin names that are “playing lately” - doesn’t say where each is or who is playing it.
