    I’ve been in Mike’s Artist Works class for around 4 years. He switches around his Mando here and there but most often plays the Northfield 4th gen. He has had at least 2 different 4th gens in that time. He has been working with Northfield for years now providing input into their various iterations of the artist series. Everything he plays sounds amazing of course!

    Boy. MM does indeed have some big fingers. Never really noticed that. Doesn't slow him down any, though

    He has giant hands, which are just about the right size for mandolin playing.

    I kind of wish my fingers were more like his for when you have to hold down 4 strings at a time.

    If I remember right, he can do a 4 finger chop chord in first position.....on the mandocello!
