I’m embarrassed to say I have Supertone Mandolin that was now in know completely generously given to me years ago. Dam I’m thinking 15 years ago or so. Never knew what the kind gift was. It’s been unstringed in hot cold NH storage for all those years. So I went to my storage and saw it out of the corner of my eye and thought this looks old so I took it home only to look it up and it a 100 years old or older. I’m stunned!!!! I’ve owned Epiphone electric Mandolin but this is special. I looked on line and see a few that come close but mine has more detail. The neck is still straight I have unlaid top and bottom of the body. I have an inlay catered down the back and the inlaid dots on the neck are different from what I see any wear online. There are 3 vertical inlaid dots on the 7th and 12 frets. Is the a certain year standard or is it a custom build? Anyone know what year it is. The style no. Is 312. It is in great shape straight neck. It’s missing parts..... I’m going to put the oldest timers I can find on it the oldest but I can find on it the oldest bridge I can find on it. The tail cover is missing. I’ll search through the heavens to find an original tail cover and the original parts I need. I welcome any feedback. Where to get original parts, what the actual year is, and heck I’m gonna refurbish it and be a proud player of history. Thank you fir reading this post please help me make this instrument original and proudly playable. Thank you all for your time.
