Default ISO - luthier in Oakland County, MI

    Hey Folks, Happy New Year.

I've got a '62 Harmony Tenor Guitar that I'd like to get some fret markers installed on the side of the neck / fretboard. Is there anyone near Rochester Hills that can help me? Or should I just buy the stickers and plop them on there?

My issue is that I can't see the top of the fretboard when I sit and play, so I'd like to get some fret markers installed on the top side of the neck. Note that this instrument is well worn and I'm not concerned about resale value.

I'd love to hear your thoughts or suggestions. I can post pictures if needed. Thanks!

Paul I have used masking tape with a hole punched in the size of the fret marker you want. Then a drop of fingernail polish for the marker. Take the tape off before it is completely dry so it doesn't stick to the tape. You can easily remove them with your fingernail when you want, yet they will last decades.
