Default Perry Hill ( original ) Mandolin and Guitar

This is a song I wrote some 10 years ago. True story. Hope you enjoy!

    Perry Hill ( DeLorenzo )
    It was right about dawn
    When I was awoken
By a chorus of my feathered friends

There was a bit of a chill
And the air was sweet as well
It seemed I had the world to myself

    I never thought that someday
I could feel happy this way
Now beauty surrounds my every side

And it is written in my will
That if my ride should end tomorrow
Please bury me on Perry Hill
Words and Music by Frank DeLorenzo

    Sounds great!

I really enjoy your videos. Good playing, pictures, and the recording quality is good too. May I ask what gear you're using to record?

Thanks Chuck! I use a Tascam Dr-7mk2. Previously I've recorded my backing live thru a little JBL speaker. But I noticed that on my previous recording using my 6-string that it got crushed in the background. This time I used the built in dubbing feature and it's much cleaner. But murder to get the levels right, lots of trial and more trial. I do use the "studio 1" effect built in, which I think gives a little compression and cuts down some of my kitchen echo. As far as video, all I have is Windows 10 video thing. Thanks again...
