Chafin Electric Mandolin

This mandolin has had a long journey. Was originally built by Ben Chafin for Matt LaPorte to take to Europe. Matt passed, and his instruments were sold. I found the mandolin on e-bay and purchased it. At the time it had a basic oil finish. I took it back to Ben, and he played it for awhile with Don Gates. Ben finished it and got it back to me.
