    Looks like an amateur maker to me. Wood choice in interesting. Not sure of the top. Are the back and sides walnut?

    Nat Taft is a luthier from Wisconsin but he seems more into violins. Maybe he made a mando or two?

    Pretty sure. It's also been on Reverb if I remember correctly.

    Yes, he's still selling it. I had committed to purchase it but after careful consideration and a conversation with the seller I decided it wasn't for me. I have decided to save up more and use the funds towards a high end mandolin from one of our vendor/sponsors here at the cafe.
