    Default Skaggs bits - work in progress

    Transcribed and posted the music here a couple weeks ago. Trying to get up to speed, 120 bpm. (Take 106!) Will continue trying to smooth the edges and play relaxed. Ain't easy. Also, quick comparison of my 2 mandolins shows there's basically no comparison.

    To my ear the A style sounds much better.
    Because mine has eight, does that make it twice as cool as a ukulele?

    Very nice! That old Gibson has a nice full tone to it. Unfortunately, it takes $3k or so to get close to that sound in a new f hole instrument. That's some serious rack gear you've got there. Also, as a fellow tele player, I couldn't help but notice the headstock in the background.
