Default Concert with Jochen Roß and Jens-Uwe Popp

Jens-Uwe Popp (guitar) and Jochen Roß (mandolin) had the chance to present their new album "Durch Raum und Zeit" (Through space and time) in a concert organized by the NDR (Norddeutscher Rundfunk, public radio of North Germany).

The concert is available as video or podcast from the NDR website:

I will be reviewing their new CD in the CMSA's quarterly, The Mandolin Journal. It's excellent. Ditto, on the concert, which I watched. Both are very fine players, especially beautiful sound, very tight ensemble. Michael -- do you know who made Jochen's mandolin, it's not the typical modern German Seiffert-style bowl back?

The mandolin is a Fylde mandolin "made from timbers reclaimed from the Scotch Whisky trade" if I am right - you can check the Fylde website

Thanks, I thought it might be a Fylde.
