    Default finding someone

I am looking for a user whose name is Sam Lyman of ID. Is there a way I can find him here or what user name he might have. It is about a mandolin he used to have.

Did you try googling him? Sam Lyman Idaho mandolin turns up member samlyman. I hope I've not started something.

Sam's a good guy. I've played with him a few times at Wintergrass and Daniel Gore's Mandolin Symposium in Spokane. Hope to be able to attend both of those again.

It appears he has a Youtube channel as well.

And a facebook page. He was pretty easy to find. That's partly why I phrased my response that way. I hope nothing untoward develops.

No, nothing bad at all. I have an old A Jr. he used to have and I wanted to know about it. It is (to me) a fantastic sounding mandolin. Beat up as the "dickens" but boy does it sound good (to me). Thanks, J.C.

You're welcome. I didn't really think anything was up, but I had to wonder, since he was so easy to find. For me, anyway. Not everyone has mad search skills. And for once I was able to get in there before the Sultan of Search, Mike Edgerton. First time for everything, I guess. Good luck with your mission.

Oh, btw - He might be easier to find via another method. He hasn't logged in here in over a month.

PS: My A is the same way. And being owned by me hasn't helped her looks much. But she keeps on keeping on most satisfactorily.
