Default Made a Mandolin Hanger from Recycled Wood

My wife is a keen home carpenter, and she ends up with a lot of scraps. She gets timber from old dressers and the like. I wanted to get my Eastman on the wall so I made this out of old oak (from a headboard) and mahogany scraps. Worked out good and holds the mandolin very solidly! A couple of strips of felt stuck on where the mandolin contacts.

That is pretty neat. Simple design with a touch of elegance.

Thanks! I couldn't find anything for sale that I liked, so had to invent something. I had some pretty complicated ideas, but sometimes simple is best!
