Model 1 New Tailpiece
Just installed a Gilchrist tailpiece that I just got from Northfield. Thought it was a no-brainer when I found out they had the "Gilchrist" engraving as an option.
Had to drill the holes a little bigger to use the hardware they sent. Also had to do some sanding on the end pin hole. Looks great and I think it sounds brighter (maybe just the new strings).
It's not an addiction... It's an investment.

Huge improvement over the original Model 1 tailpiece. I hated that tailpiece on the one I used to have.
