The truss rod cover screw hole that is in the headstock veneer closest to the nut has become too big and will not hold the wood screw tight. I'm afraid that using a larger width of screw might only make the problem worse. I also think that using a toothpick to fill the hole will only make the veneer break away more. There is really no headstock wood beneath of the veneer at that spot. The veneer is the only thing that was holding that screw. Is there any type of filler, perhaps rubber that could be used to at least hold the screw tight? Thanks in advance
