Brad,
Great CD and great tune! I've been listening to this CD almost nonstop for ~3 weeks. I've fooled with the tune a bit, but like you say there are some bowing tricks that are hard to replicate on mando. Check the CD jacket to be sure whether or not Rayna Gellert is playing out of a different fiddle tunings on that cut (key of D, I don't think so).
I think the chords the guitar is playing are the following (by measure)
A part:
D - D - D - A - A - G - A - D
B part:
D - D - D - D - D - G - A - D
But, there spots, like right at the beginning of the G part, where the fiddle double-stops the E and A strings for a few counts, over what sounds like a D guitar chord, which ends up sounding like A and D chords superimposed. So an alternate B part accompaniment could be:
A - D - A - D - D - G - A - D
