Thanks - that is a Weber Black Ice Octave 20", I think the Black Ice is the same as Yellowstone with the dark finish, it is a sweet box, been buzzing a little on the low frets, could be the weather, could be time for new strings, could be my clumsy hands. I have a Yellowstone mandola and the tone between the two is very complimentary. I see that Yellowstone wide nut Mary Weber is selling, so far I am holding steady....

I have 20” Gallatin. What strings are you using?

    Nicely played!

Thanks Mike, I am liking the Curt Mangan Octave set ( I pretty much use all Curt Mangan these days) - which I just put on my 20" Gallatin ( oval hole A) the other day.

    12-22-32-44

I guess I would call them medium light ?
I think the Black Ice could use a string change soon.
