    Default Just to thank

I must apologize to all of you here in the forum, but I must take advantage of this site to openly thank Kurth83, member of the forum. He was kind enough and selfless enough to donate his Eastman 305 mandolin to me. I only have to cover the cost of shipping from California to Florida, where a brother of mine will receive the mandolin, who will take care of delivering it to me.

This instrument is such a huge improvement over my cheap Chinese mandolin, and I will always be enormously grateful to him. I also take this opportunity to thank everyone here in the forum, as I have always received advice and help over the years.

    Jairo

Not too surprised, this has to be the friendliest, most thoughtful forum in existence. Many thanks to Scott and all the mandonerds that make it so.

Mandolin is really my fourth instrument (electric bass, upright bass guitar and then mandolin) but I spend time on this forum because the friendly atmosphere and level of knowledge. Kudos to Kurth83 for what he did. It makes me proud to be part of this community.
