My experience with the WILLHI WH1436H Air Humidity Controller
Recently I began to suspect my practice room was a bit to dry. So I did a little reading (on the Burgess Violin site among others) and bought a WILLHI WH1436H Air Humidity Controller; Sper Scientific hair type hygrometer and a digital hygrometer. A Vicks room humidifier was plugged into the WILLHI controller. I calibrated the Sper hygrometer using the salt method over a 24 hour period and it was spot on. I adjusted the WILLHI unit and digital unit readouts to the Sper unit. The WILLHI unit seems to be working very well at turning the humidifier off and on to maintain humidity around 45%. If you are head scratching about humidity concerns, perhaps my experience will help you sort it out.
