Default Octave Mandolin Course for tenor guitar players in GDAE?

Just saw that Joe Walsh has launched an Octave Mandolin class on Peghead Nation, and I wonder if it would be applicable (with some modifications) to tenor guitarists who play GDAE. I haven't had a chance to try the sample lesson, but I'd love to hear anyone's opinion who tries it out. I have a second class on PHN that I'm not using much and a few weeks left in my subscription, maybe I'll switch over and give it a go if I can apply it to tenor.

I played one of his tunes "Sam Brown Hill". It works fine on tenor guitar.

What Chris Gray said: definitely works. Sam Brown Hill is a great song. Also, Matt Flinner is teaching an Octave course right now and he is an outstanding teacher. I'm taking that one, too.
