    Default Apitius Yorkville Jazz Mandolin

    Hi all,

I'm super excited by the mandolin I just received from Oliver Apitius. It's his Yorkville model. In my opinion, there is no mandolin that's better suited to Jazz. For anyone interested, there's a thread about the mando with video clips in the GENERAL MANDOLIN DISCUSSION FORUM.

Aaron, thanks for the show and tell of your Apitius Yorkville mandolin on Peghead Nation. Way Cool. The finger picking made clear and tonally appealing is a fine direction for jazz and swing to take. I need another mandolin like I need ... well enough of that. But this instrument ... and your playing of it just wows me. R/

Aaron: I think this mandolin compliments your bowties better than the Red Diamond! In all seriousness; a spiffy looking and great sounding mandolin, played by a master.
