Default Gear Tuner replacement for Morgan Monroe MMS-3

This is my first time on this forum, real glad to find you folks! I have a friend looking to upgrade the tuning machines on a Morgan Monroe MMS-3. The instrument has the worm gear ABOVE the wheel gear with 14:1 ratio... hes' trying to locate suitable replacement (same gear set-up) but in a 16:1 ratio. Any idea where these could be located? Any help or suggestions will be very much appreciated!

    Thanks!

Can you post an image of the back of their headstock? They also need to measure the distance between the posts on one set, center to center. Hopefully the post spacing would be the standard .906 inches (23.01 mm) center to center. What you are describing would be called worm over tuners.

As far as sources go there are a few.
