We talked a bit about the upcoming solo album, Laysongs, and a bit about the past pandemic year. Other bits were squeezed out to fit into Morning Edition. We chatted a bit about espresso... how his latte art skills were coming along... the financial hit to musicians during the past year... thoughts on trying his hand again at long-form composition...

And I caught his solo show here in Bethlehem, PA last night. The weather started cold and blustery, but when the wind died down, it was nice enough for a socially distanced outdoor show. (that old Loar is getting the 'cold rain and snow' treatment, but sounded very good through the pa) The set list was a mix of everything from NC hits to Bach to PBros to material from the upcoming album that drops June 4.
