    I bought this mandolin about a year ago in Chicago. because of Covid, I still haven't collected it, but I know it had no makers label. Angelo Mannello? what does anyone think please? thank you.

    Fair play to you.

    Given the bowl ornamentation, Mannello would be one of my first guesses, too.

    The F holes naturally make one think of Waldo, who did produce some highly decorated mandolins, too.

    Though I've never seen a Waldo quite that far out.

    Whoever made it (Mannello is likely), congratulations on your purchase. Certainly a museum-grade instrument.
