I am joining everyone on this thread in praying for Dennis and his family. He is a wonderful gentleman and dear to so many. I just want him to know I too care and wish him a return to full health. May God be with you Dennis! Dan

Wishing Dennis comfort and strength, from a fellow transplant recipient.

A week further on, does anyone have newer info on Dennis’ progress?

The fevers went away on their own. Every test they ran came back negative for both fungal and bacterial infections. So they did a pet scan and decided to take out a small lymph node out that showed some slight inflammation. That came back negative for any cancer. So, now the worst of it is I have a large hematoma on my neck from the biopsy and I look like someone tried to strangle me........maybe they did while I was under. The good news is no fevers and all tests we negative. The bad news they have no idea wat was causing the fevers. Thank you to everyone for your prayers and get well wishes..

So thankful for your news, Dennis. It is alarming to have a fever like that after your transplants and not find out why. I can only imagine, but am glad that they investigated everything as thoroughly as they did. I know this mandolin patron of yours, as are so many others, is very glad to know you are on the mend! You are too important to all of us! Dan
