Default Best rechargeable LED music stand clip-on light?

    I'm looking for
    1. Sufficient light,
    2. Robust neck,
    3. Tight-gripping clip.
I see a bunch of them on Amazon, but most lack one of the above elements in their reviews. Anyone happy with their purchase?

Alexis and I each use the Aria Forte and couldn't be happier. I've used other lights but this one is in a class by itself. When fully charged it lasts about 8 hours and uses 18 LEDs that are too bright to look directly at. It has a dimmer switch, two clamps and I love it!! It is expensive so be ready for that but you get what you pay for. We are in our third year with no problems at all and all the light we've ever needed. Check the stats....

    Absolutely.

Nothing else even comes close. I have an Aria Brio, and anyone who sits near me ends up jealous. A number of people have bought their own after seeing mine. As Billy says, they're stupid expensive, and it's some of the best money I ever spent. They fit fine on a Manhasset or Peak stand—several other varieties too—but you can't use them with a wire music stand.

EDIT: They way the Aria lights are built, it's impossible for them to shine in anyone else's eyes, whether they are sitting in the audience or across the stage. Any of the goose-neck stand lights can blind other people!

It looks nice, but I could buy six of the other ones for that price. Thanks for the info.

You know your own needs and bank account, Elliot, but a dozen of the "other ones" wouldn't begin to compare with the Aria lights. Like I said, it's in a class by itself.

I don't need one all the time, but on occasion have gotten by fine with the Mighty Bright. I actually have the smaller of the two they make and find it does fine for me, even on the lower of the two settings. It uses AAAs but I'm already set up with Eneloops and a charger for AA and AAA for flashlights and remotes. I click it off in between sets but never had any trouble getting through a dance on one set of batteries.

    Lotuslights.net
This is the best that I have found and they are made in the USA.

Ditto on the Lotus lights. They produce a bright and even light and can easily be adjusted from low to high brightness. I have not used the Aria lights but Lotus is super. I’ve used the larger and the smaller lights. The owner answers the phone and is quite friendly.

The Lotus is smaller, and it can be clipped on a wire stand. What I don't like about them is that unless they are adjusted so they are perfectly parallel to the floor they will be shining in someone's eyes, either a dozen audience members' or other musicians'. No fun.

Haven’t had a problem with the Lotus Light. They all have to be adjusted properly to shine where you want them to.

Now that you mention it I have been asked by folks in audience to adjust the light for that reason. But it is not hard to do and the intensity can be adjusted. 99% of my playing is by myself or with my wife at home. It's certainly perfect for that.
