Is there a particular modern case that folks have found works well for these?
Most modern cases are built to accommodate the F5 long neck. Is there something built specifically for the shorter neck?
Thanks.

Okay, specifically this one:

I can order one at trade pricing through my workplace, but if I commit to the order I have to buy it.
Has anyone had experience with this case for an F2/F4? Will the headstock clear the centre pocket?
Thanks.
That looks to be a knock-off of the TKL rectangular case - right down th the blanket; although the one I have is burgundy and not green.
The main issue for the TKL with vintage Gibsons is the width of the body which is why my As live in an Eastman fibreglass case. The TKL is a very tight fit and I suspect any regular use would cause damage to the lining so you really need to try one.
The Eastman case has little or no storage inside but I don’t think they make them any more.
+1 for the second-generation Eastman fiberglass case. My F4 fits in it very nicely. The first generation cases did not have the neck rest in the right place for the short-necked Gibsons, but the second generation was great. They seem to have disappeared from the market, but they do occasionally show up used. Agree with Ray that there is no storage inside, but otherwise, they are pretty good for a lightweight shaped case.
