Default Any jams/meetups in NY (Poughkeepise / New Paltz / Albany / NYC)

I'm going to be traveling back to NY from 6/17 to 7/20. I'll mostly in Poughkeepise / New Paltz area but will be up in Albany and down in NYC somewhat too.

It's been a while since I've been in NY - anyone know of jams / meetups in those areas?

'68 graduate of Marist C. here, so I have a soft spot for Poughkeepsie!

Good link, Lucas. I'll point out to mbruno that Highland is just across the river, for that every-2nd-Wednesday "HVBA Open Jam". Sweet!

(Did I ever tell ya about riding a tank car across the Poughkeepsie RR bridge? That would've been a bit before getting arrested in Maybrook, an hour or so south at freight train speeds ...)

That sounds pretty funny Ed. I went to school at New Paltz for a bit and my mom has lived in Highland for a bit. I've watched the place change as I've come back to visit. The railroad bridge was recently reopened as a pedestrian bridge to connect the rail trails on either side. Pretty cool. I used to work on the mid-hudson bridge back in the day. Never drove a tank across it, but we did our own dumb shit there haha.

    Thanks for the link Lucas.

If anyone knows of good shows and etc too - I'd love that as well
