Default Rest in peace - Choro das Tres loses member

You will be seeing this sad news on social media... Eduardo, the father of the family group Choro das Tres, and tambourine player, has passed from complications of COVID. For those less familiar with the group you may have seen Elisa playing Brazilian bandolim on Mandolin Mondays, teaching at some choro camps and more. Exceptionally talented player. Rest in peace, Eduardo.

Oh, so very sad. I met them all at a wonderful house concert years ago in New York City. Lovey people and wonderful musicians. Condolences to the family.

I neglected to mention that Eduardo's wife has also been quite seriously ill with the same and was on oxygen but last I heard has been improving.

So sad to hear this. I've had the pleasure numerous times to meet and hang with the family and I can only imagine the sadness and grief. They were so tight knit family. So sad...

....I saw them about 4 years ago in the Caspar Community Center, that's Caspar, CA. I was gobbsmacked!. I was able to say to Elisa, "I'm a mandolin player, but you're a REAL mandolin player"...she smiled and thanked me... So sorry about father Eduardo, such percussive finesse, truly a master in his own right..RIP....

That's horrible news. I was blown away by their musical generosity and kindness when I met them several years back in Austin.

Just crushing to hear this news. Such an incredible family.

So sad. Chords das Tres was fabulous at the Symposium! His joyfulness will be missed!
