Given the minor key, 3/4 time, and general sound, I'd strongly guess that it's Italian; could be "folk" as much as "classical".
One problem is that hundreds / thousands of Italian folks tunes that are not real well documented; I'd guess that some have been dug up for use in movies, say, without leaving "searchable" evidence behind. A possible source might be the two book of Northern / Southern Italian folk music put out by John T. LaBarbera; several dozen in each book. It'd take some hours comparing your clip to the printed pages... not today! (And there's another John LaBarbera musician, without the "T.", running around! He's shown up in the credits for some fairly big movies.)
