Interested in this. I am part time in Newfane and part time in Brooklyn. In reality I am a bass player and don't know much about Bluegrass but wouldn't mind learning. BTW Grafton is one of the prettiest places around.
Hi Brian, nice to meet you! The jam landscape in Vermont is just reformulating now after a year of Covid dormancy. All the jams I know about are quite far north of you. You might have just as much luck looking into the scene in Northampton, MA, where I think there is a decent cluster of players. Facebook also tells me that there is a jam in Brattleboro: https://www.facebook.com/mcneillsbluegrass/. I know of a couple really great bluegrass players in Brattleboro. Sorry I don't have a more concrete lead for you! Let me know if you're in the Middlebury area ever.

You could go to the beach, dine at Newick's, and see these folks. A long drive though.

There's a Wednesday evening jam at The Filling Station in White River Junction, great atmosphere, friendly folks, all levels are welcome and encouraged to participate. Check their web site to be sure of scheduling.
I'm in Brattleboro and have a large field and a good sized deck :-) oh, and a refrigerator

I'm full time in Brooklyn. Open to playing anytime!
Troy, NY is about 30 min. from Bennington and there's a monthly jam, the 2nd Sunday of every month at the Rustic Barn Pub.
