Skip Kelley Offset Two-Point #063 2017

I'd been watching this Skip Kelley build for some time at Reverb. I didn't see it for sale here or I'd have preferred to have made an offer here. I'd never seen any mandolin generate so much interest. By the time I made my offer, I was one of 38 people watching it, and my offer was the third one made. The price had dropped at least once. I ended up paying 3000 for it. I wonder if anyone knew anything about it? I've sent Skip a PM. He's very likely very busy with some more builds.
I was mainly interested in what the original price was or what he was getting for a fully appointed similar two-point. Kevin at Mando Mutt told me it was a reasonable deal. I'll put up a link. I bought it yesterday from a guy in California. It comes with a Superior Fiberglass case. It's my understanding those aren't very deep and the mandolin might not fit with tone guard as well as arm rest. So I also bought this mint condition Hiscox Pro Man II from a guy in Baltimore at a pretty decent price. I can always sell the Superior.

When I first got in touch with Skip, he took a few days to get back to me. He's responsive, when he knows that someone is trying to get in touch but I didn't get the impression checking PMs here was a daily thing for him.

I'm patient. However he responded within a couple of hours. I always get an email to my gmail account whenever I have a PM. Comes right to my phone.
