I recently found some old listings for a (limited edition?) 'faded leather' color Weber Gallatin like this:
https://www.southshoremusic.com/shop...-x33226354.htm
And I absolutely love the combination of dark color with no binding. I think it looks amazing! Sadly, I don't think they're available in that variant anymore. Does anyone know of any other mandolin that has this 'unbound' look with a dark finish?
I'd be interested in any other examples of currently available unbound F-style mandolins in general besides the Gallatin. I think Breedlove mandolins are like this, but I can't tell if Breedlove is even still producing mandolins these days...
Edit: For what it's worth, I hadn't seen this: https://www.mandolincafe.com/forum/c...-Manufacturing So I guess Weber's off this list as well.
