A hole will have to be drilled in the tail to accept the block.
This sounds easy, but actually it is not. Drilling the hole without damaging the mandolin requires certain techniques that we don't think about if we're just drilling a hole in a raw piece of wood.
Take the mandolin to a professional who has installed jacks before and is familiar with the techniques.
Also, the Weber is just not a screw. It's a machine screw with the other part under the tailpiece. That part will need to be carefully removed before drilling for a jack. At least that's what is on my Weber although it's an early model.

The tapastring jack is tapered like an endpin. You need to drill a smaller hole and ream it out with the correct tapered reamer as the tapastring.
