Default Levin Aristocrat 2-Point, circa 1945

I just received this yesterday, after purchasing it at auction in June. Restrung it with D'Addario XS strings. Since there isn't too much information about these I thought I'd post a couple of photos and a short video clip. It sound better in person than via the iPhone video. I am very happy.

    Looks pretty and sounds great!
It appears to be super clean from the photos.

So it’s Sir Clem now since you bought into aristocracy, you old Swede. You’ve done well on that mandolin. Play it in good health

    Very nice mandolin.
I have a Levin model 42 that would be the third in the top-tier of levin mandolins.

I am curious about aristokrats as they look very nice. Where did you bought it, I haven't spotted one for sale in several years.

    Congrats for the adquisition!
