No no, it's "completely restored" so the foam must be original

I don't know how they determined the country of origin or the date it was built. We have examples of mandolins built in the late 20's early 30's in Vietnam here on the Cafe and that doesn't look a lot like them. I seriously doubt that tailpiece would show up on one but hey, who knows.
