    Default Mandolin Cafe hats

I wasn't sure which forum to post this in, but I'm looking for a new mandolin cafe hat after I accidently lost my old one while flying last weekend. They don't see to be available in the cafe store, so I'm assuming no dice for now. If that's the case, anyone know when there will be another run? I loved my hat

Bummer! I suppose looking around where you last had it wouldn't help in this instance...

I've lost a few and given a few away over the years - sometimes I'll order 2 at a time when they come up. The limited runs usually sell out. I think I've currently got a red and a black cloth version, as well as the trucker style cap.

Maybe some dice now, Matt! I have a red one that has never been worn. If you are interested in it please send me a PM.

For some reason only the gray Mandolin Cafe caps fit my head. The other colors, including the red one I don’t wear, are too small. I’m not sure when these were first produced but my gray one is from the original batch I think and I have a local cobbler who is kind enough from time to time to repair and keep it in wearable condition for me.

Keep hoping someday the Mandolin Cafe caps will be produced with a sword bill!

I lost that same hat last year (2 of them actually), asked Scott about it and he said no more of that style on the horizon. Maybe if we get enough of us to commit to a purchase he'll reload the boat.

I'd buy at least 2 more caps. I, also, am a pumpkin head, so when it says "one size fits all", I just shake my head, and suck the teeth.

My normal hat size is 7 3/4. Both the regular and the trucker hat versions fit. Was very surprised. The trucker is one of the largest I've owned. And very comfortable.

I have two, one is khaki and my favorite - the black one I won in a drawing shortly after i joined the Cafe. I would guess a run will be done again, id love to see some pastel colors and maybe t-shirts, hoodies, buffs, etc.

I'm a big fan of 3/4 sleeve baseball shirts.

Ditto, my first is a Khaki my second is black. The Khaki gets worn 95% of the time.
Matt, sorry to hear you lost your Cafe hat but it sounds like you had fun when it happened. Recently I lost my oldest-favorite hat, a Jolly Dog hat from St John USVI. It happened to fly off my head a couple of months ago while aboard a friends catamaran off St John. I guess it wanted to be back home.

I'd definitely buy a trucker style cap. Even pre-order one!

I've got a few - original khaki which is pretty beat, so I got a new one. Also have the black one. I've got a red one too, but haven't been able to bring myself to wear any red ball caps since 2015....
