Grisman Dawg leash?

Thinking of trying the Grisman Dawg leash, the F5 strap inspired by a sax strap that goes over your neck. Any pros/cons anyone's noticed?

I made 1 myself for my solid body 4 string electric .. it has a D ring to hook into .. Saxophones have a ring, to hook into .

I believe Tiny Moore used one like yours on his Bigsby.

He it seems had a scroll loop & a Loop over his head,, same loop or 2 . IDK ..
Tiny had a screws eye ring . I think , in that 5 string ..

I just sold mine only because I became scroll-less. For me it took a little adjustment time. Had to learn how to adjust it like a bolo tie. But once I got used to it I did like it. Didn’t love it. I’m just not used to having a couple of pounds hanging off my neck. Given more time, I suspect I would have grown to really like it but just got my lifetime mandolin and it’s an A style. So………
