Sturgill Simpson The Ballad of Dood and Juanita
My kids got me The Ballad of Dood and Juanita for my birthday yesterday. I'm listening to it right now. What an outstanding album. I highly recommend it. Looking at "The Players": Sierra Hull and Mark Howard on mandolin. Also Stuart Duncan on fiddle, Scott Vestal and Tim O'Brien on banjo, Jelly Roll Johnson on harmonica, Russ Paul on jaw harp, Mike Bub on bass, Sam Bacco on percussion, and Tim O'Brien on lead guitar. Special appearance by Willie Nelson and of course there's Sturgill. Wow!
If anyone has any other albums they enjoy are currently enjoying, please post!
