    I am archiving this donated mandolin for a small history museum. Would like any information that would be helpful. Thanks.

    There's not much to go from with the limited photos and no maker's mark.
    Unless someone recognizes the maker and model, about the best I can do is "Neapolitan style bowl-back mandolin, circa 1910, probably made in the US."

    This looks like an American Conservatory style bowlback made by Lyon & Healy for the retail trade circa 1912. Here is the color page from my 1912 catalog. It resembles #603 but has the headstock shape of both 607 & 608:

    Concur with Jim G. "Scooped top" headstock profile often used by L & H. Mixed woods in the bowl probably indicate pre-1900; at least that seems to be the case with L & H's Washburn line -- my 1890's Washburn mandola has alternating maple/rosewood ribs.
