Default Who makes a symetrical F case for my two-point?

Yup. Just that. I have a case my Morgan Monroe is in that is perfect (aside from the big branding and that it's got a mando permanently in it).

I'm looking for a wood/tolex case as small as I can get away with. Not really a fan of the Vectra/Arrow/etc ABS cases. I'd like something slimmer in all directions by length

    Any ideas?

I have an Armitage case that Austin Clark provided with my 2 point. Not really small, but very sturdy.

The Guardian CG-035-MA fits my Gibson two point Jethro Burns model very nicely. Nicely constructed and under $100.

The Weber Bighorn fits nicely into a standard Weber F style case. Seems like most two-points fit a regular F-style case OK. Steve's recommendation for a Guardian is probably a good way to get a decent case without spending a fortune. Guitar Works in Evanston ordered a Guardian case for me a while back and it didn't take too long. The Mandolin Store also helped me find a nice used case at one time.

The Guardian CG-035-MA is kinda exactly what I am looking for. Can you confirm that the inside is only 27" top to bottom? My instrument is 27.5 inches.

I was ready to pull the trigger on a regular F case and be done with it, until I noticed the case from my Morgan Monroe was symmetrical. Is buying better than shopping? Buying has limits...

Mitch, my gibson measures 27.5 from point of headstock to end of strap pin. There is a little room left.
I bought mine from amazon so I could return it free, no questions asked if I did not like it or it did not fit.
Have had it for 2 years, very happy with it. Steve

Let's say I wanted to ask if anyone knows who could upgrade/customize the case I have. Would this post have enough visibility or does it warrant a new thread?

Question Re: Who makes a symetrical F case for my two-point?

Rectangular cases are not symmetrical enough?

They most certainly are. If the TKL 8900 had a compartment that fit both my strap and a pack of strings, we wouldn't be discussing it.
The case I have is the perfect size and shape. It just needs a redo on the padding and outside tolex.
