Guessing they are not generally available here in the USA. Kind of nice looking though and I like the koa body.

Yeah, I see the URL is a USA website too. Why not buy one and let us know what you think. They seem a bit pricey to me, especially if Hobgoblin has to ship from the UK.Too many obstacles to wade through for my tastes.

Too much to risk for my sensibilities. I pulled the trigger on a US built solid body em8.
Should have it in about 6 weeks.
I feel better buying from a builder with devoted Cafe followers.

Ashbury can be quite variable in terms of playability. But had I spotted this earlier Bill, I'd have been happy to trial one for you as I'm in the UK near a Hobgoblin store.
That said, I totally get your point on risk, and for what it's worth - I've tried various Ashbury intruments and the only one I really like was their cutaway Lindisfarne tenor guitar- which was in turn ruined by the sh*t shadow pickup with one of those ugly battery preamp EQ things that leave a massive square hole I don't need.

You might have quite a drive; they only have 3 in stock and they’re in London, Canterbury and Brighton.
