    Here's a baroque mandolin I completed recently:

    Another fine creation, Jo, and it sounds great too in the video clip. Those rosettes you create are always such lovely things. Is is tuned in 5ths, and what are the five courses?

    Thanks! It's tuned in fourths like all baroque mandolins, in this case beadg. In the case of a 6 course one, it'd have a bass g course on the bottom.

    I used nylon strings on this. Historically it would've been gut.
