Re: NE Virginia/D.C. area repair
Marc Glickman in Frederick, MD is a well respected luthier in the DC area, he is known for quality work at reasonable rates and good turnaround times. He has worked on most of the vintage Gibsons in my collection. Contact him at marcopno@verizon.net
It doesn’t look like a big problem, the bridge saddle often creeps forward with string changes, if the posts are not bent you may be able to loosen the strings and tilt the saddle back into position but I recommend visiting Marc. I suspect he can make other improvements in action and playability while he has it in the shop.
Let us know how things turn out!

Re: NE Virginia/D.C. area repair
Just want to second Mark's recommendation of Marc Glickman. He's worked on most of my mandos over time, everything from an 1890 Vinaccia to 1980 Pecoraro. He does great work and I feel fortunate to have him so close to home.

Re: NE Virginia/D.C. area repair
Thanks for the rec.
Mark responded almost as quickly as you folks and has already been very helpful.
He is an easy hour drive just North of me without getting on the DC beltway.
Grateful, Joe

Re: NE Virginia/D.C. area repair
Just gave two mandolins to Marc and Kelly.
Enjoyed seeing shop and conversation.
Will "report back" when Marc returns the instruments.

Re: NE Virginia/D.C. area repair
Just got two mandos back from Marc Glickman. He brought them both back to life and at a very modest cost to me. He and Kelly sure have my recommendation: fine work from fine people.
Thanks to the Forum and those folks who answered my call for help.
